Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder that causes you to stop breathing during sleep. When we sleep, the throat relaxes. For people with sleep apnea, sometimes they relax so much that the airway becomes narrowed or blocked. As a result, airflow is reduced or completely stops flowing into the upper airway and the lungs, so the body doesn't get the oxygen it needs to function. It’s important to understand the signs and symptoms and consult your doctor if you think you might have it. ## Understand the AirMini™ therapy modes CPAP APAP ![AirCurve_icone_2](https://f.hubspotusercontent00.net/hubfs/6550155/ResMed%20BR%20B2B%202020/Product%20Equipment/AirCurve_icone_2.png) Consistent pressure CPAP is a fixed pressure mode which means it delivers a consistant airflow preassure that is set by your doctor.   ![redcross](https://www.resmed.my/hubfs/01-2023-Resmed-emergingAsia/MY/redcross.webp) Auto-adjusting pressure APAP is an auto-adjusting mode that change airflow preassure levels throught the night based on your needs. ![icon-eyebrow-question-mark-black](https://www.resmed.my/hubfs/01-2023-Resmed-emergingAsia/MY/icon-eyebrow-question-mark-black.svg) ## Frequently asked questions ### Does AirMini have a battery?
